Classes are held each spring and fall. This program is 6 weeks. Classroom time is Monday-Wednesday and Clincials are Thursday and Fridays. You must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent unless you are currently enrolled in a HSE program. You must also have a valid driver’s license or State ID.

Description: The program will provide the training and clinical experience necessary for individuals seeking entry-level jobs as a certified nurse assistant. The course includes 30+ hours of classroom instructions and 75 hours of clinical experience. Clinicals schedules are developed after class begins. Upon successful completion of both the written and skills portion of the test the individual will become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and is entered in the Indiana Nurse Aide Registry.

Welding

Classes are held each spring and fall. Classes are 4 nights a week for 3 hours each evening for 12 weeks. You must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent unless you are currently enrolled in a HSE program.

Description: A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces. Individuals will receive training needed to obtain certification upon successful completion of this program. All certifications will be proctored by a third party Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) which will be held on a Saturday, passing of these tests will earn you the AWS certification.
