The Veterinary Science class visited Clearwater Simmentals in Milan today! They were able to get some hands on experience with vaccinating cattle.

Jade Smith is in the Health Science 2 Program. Her home school is Milan High School. Jade is the daughter of Jeff and Debbie Smith. Her father, Jeff, passed away in December. Despite this unforeseen heartbreak during her Senior year, Jade has persevered. She is in the Capstone Program where she works as a CNA at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, Indiana. Jade will be continuing with St. Andrews full-time after graduation where she can continue to make her residents feel safe and happy to know that she has made a difference in their lives.

Nolan Lecher is a student from Batesville High School enrolled in the Advanced Culinary arts program. Nolan is the son of Frank and Kim Lecher. Nolan is in the Capstone program where he works part-time at Wagner’s Village Inn in Oldenburg, Indiana. He will be continuing at Wagner’s after graduating from SCC.

Fancy Hanser is a student from South Dearborn High School in the Health Science 2 program. Fancy is the daughter of Ceasar and Fubina Hanser. Fancy is in the Capstone Program working part-time at the Waters of Dillsboro in Dillsboro, Indiana as a CNA. She will be continuing at The Waters after graduation. Her career goal is to become a registered nurse.

Erik Gunter is a student from Batesville High School in the Welding 2 Program. Erik is the son of Roger and Connie Gunter. He is involved in the capstone program where he has been working as a part-time welder at Wood-Mizer in Batesville, Indiana. After graduating, Erik will be continuing at Wood-Mizer in a full-time Welder 1 position where he will be welding on industrial equipment. We have Jordan May from Human Resources, Don Speckman, Welding Supervisor
and Adam "AJ" Hooten, Production Manager are here to represent Wood-Mizer. Congratulations, Erik! We wish you the best of luck.

Noah Scott-Pippin is a student from South Dearborn High School currently enrolled in the Networking program. Noah is the son of Mike and Kayla Scott. Noah has enlisted in the Air Force after graduation.

Gabe Jackson is in the Welding 2 Program and is a student from Switzerland County High School. Gabe is the son of Mark and Erin Jackson. Gabe has enlisted in the Marine Corps after graduating from SCC. After completing his enlistment, Gabe has a career goal of becoming a full-time welder. To represent the Marines, Gabe’s recruiter Corey Mitchell has joined us today

Wade Patton is a senior from South Ripley High School and is enrolled in the Welding 2 program. Wade is the son of BJ and Michelle Patton. Wade has enlisted in the Marine Corps after graduating from SCC.

Justin High is a senior at Southwestern High School and is enrolled in the Welding 2 program. Justin is the son of Frank and Diana High. Justin is in the Capstone Work Based Learning Program working as a part-time intern at RKO Enterprises in Madison, Indiana assisting in building fire protection equipment. Justin has enlisted in the Navy after graduating from SCC. Tanner Bender is here today to represent the Navy.
